Navigation Courses
This practical 1-day or 2-day course is for anyone who wants to feel more confident using a map and compass. Based in the hills of the Lake District, we can arrange accommodation for you, or you can book your own. Price dependant on your numbers (we suggest a minimum of 2 people, and a maximum of 8). Sample Programme
The course is likely to include an overview of maps and the symbols used on them, taking bearings, pacing, timing, micro navigation and route planning. However, contact me in advance if you have particular requests as the programme can be flexible to suit your requirements.

What's included:
- 2 days practical instruction by qualified mountain leaders
- We can arrange accommodation for you if you wish.
What's not included:
- Transport to and from venue
- Meals, unless you ask us to book full board accommodation for you
- Alcohol
- Cancellation insurance - it is recommended that you take out holiday insurance
